DAS: Stra­te­gic and Opera­tio­nal Philanthropy

The Univer­sity of Geneva is laun­ching a new conti­nuing educa­tion execu­tive program in “Stra­te­gic and Opera­tio­nal Phil­an­thropy” this Septem­ber. This DAS (34 ECTS points) provi­des a syste­ma­tic under­stan­ding of the phil­an­thro­pic­sec­tor in the era of Agenda 2030. From a multi­di­sci­pli­nary perspec­tive, it illus­tra­tes the current Swiss and inter­na­tio­nal phil­an­thro­pic trends offe­ring insights on the future direc­tions of this field. In twelve modu­les we will cover funda­men­tal topics in finance and coope­ra­tion, intro­du­cing ESG, SDGs and best prac­tice approa­ches among other important instru­ments. The offer is aimed in parti­cu­lar at profes­sio­nals from phil­an­thro­pic orga­niza­ti­ons, corpo­rate foun­da­ti­ons and family offices. The language of instruc­tion is English. The course starts in Septem­ber 2021 and lasts until August 2022. The offi­cial regis­tra­tion dead­line is May 31. The detailed program can be found at:
