Matthias Zehnder is a freelance journalist, speaker and author based in Basel. He studied German and philosophy and holds a doctorate in media studies. Zehnder has founded and co-founded several start-up companies and publications related to the internet. He has headed up newspapers ranging from small to very large in scale and worked as a researcher and consultant. As a journalist, he has been working with digitalisation and its consequences for 30 years, with a current focus on artificial intelligence.
