Giuseppe Ugazio is the Edmond de Rothschild Assistant Professor in Behavioral Philanthropy at the Geneva Finance Research Institute. He holds PhDs in Philosophy and Neuroeconomics from the University of Zurich. As an interdisciplinary behavioral scientist, he studies the neuropsychological mechanisms underlying complex social behaviors. His research focuses on decision-making in philanthropy, particularly the interaction of emotions and moral values. He is also developing AI approaches to better understand the motivations behind prosocial behavior.
