Béatrice Koch has been working as a journalist since 2000. She studied German language and literature, art history and classical archaeology in Basel. Already during her studies she wrote as a freelancer for various daily newspapers. Later, she wrote an ecclesiastical art guide and worked for several years as a local editor for the "Aargauer Zeitung" before returning to freelance journalism.
