Acting toge­ther

The Inter­na­tio­nal Phil­an­thropy Commit­ment on Climate Change invi­tes every foun­da­tion to make a shared commit­ment to sustaina­bi­lity, regard­less of their objec­ti­ves or their geogra­phi­cal loca­tion. The initia­tive reco­g­ni­ses the urgency of the fight against climate change, belie­ving that foun­da­ti­ons and other orga­ni­sa­ti­ons active within the phil­an­thro­pic sphere could have a substan­tial posi­tive impact on climate change. The initia­tive is backed by WINGS, a network of phil­an­thro­pic orga­ni­sa­ti­ons working to ensure phil­an­thropy func­tions as a cata­lyst for social progress. For foun­da­ti­ons in Europe, the Phil­an­thropy Coali­tion for Climate by Dafne, the Donors and Foun­da­ti­ons Network in Europe, is alre­ady in place.
