StiftungSchweiz launches Switzerland’s first online donation magazine. It presents a variety of organisations and projects and provides valuable donation tips. This online magazine is supplemented by a free fortnightly donation newsletter.
We celebrate winning the Q‑Award Digital. thephilanthropist.ch is voted best digital medium by Verlegerverband Schweizer Medien.
The familiar, proven expert search for organisations and projects is expanded. The new general search displays cross-platform results using the keyword search. As well as organisations and projects, users can also find other content such as interesting articles, studies, educational materials, etc.
Switzerland’s second foundation barometer is launched. Around 250 foundations provide an insight into their activities and an overview of the current situation and make predictions.
The people of Switzerland donated a total of one billion Swiss francs in 2020. A record in a year dominated by coronavirus. The large-scale ‘Spendadvent’ donation campaign, initiated by Zürcher Kantonalbank in partnership with StiftungSchweiz, is intended to encourage people to donate in the long term. The initiative has a wider impact thanks to a communication campaign by StiftungSchweiz.
